Welcome to our community. This forum exists to help people discuss relationships and dating with clarity, empathy, and practical experience. Newcomers are encouraged to participate. The goal is a space where honest questions meet respectful, evidence-based answers.

    Basic Conduct
Treat others the way you want to be treated. Disagreement is fine; disrespect is not. Personal attacks, targeted harassment, dogpiling, and bad-faith baiting are not allowed. Assume good intentions, argue ideas not people, and give others room to learn. Abusive behavior can lead to removal of posts, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.

    Prohibited Content
We do not allow hate speech, slurs, explicit threats of violence, doxxing or the solicitation of doxxing, non-consensual sexual content, revenge porn, exploitation, or instructions for illegal activity. We also disallow stalking, harassment campaigns, and credible threats. Threats and doxxing are zero-tolerance and result in immediate action.

    Posting Guidelines
Use clear, descriptive titles so others can find and help you. Before starting a new thread, search to see if your question has already been answered. Keep posts on topic and write with the audience in mind: a concise setup, the relevant facts, and a clear question usually get the best responses. Very short “one-liners” without context may be removed; extremely long posts should include a brief summary at the top. When replying, add value: share experience, cite resources, or pose clarifying questions. Civility makes advice worth reading.

    Privacy & Safety
Protect your privacy and that of others. Do not post private information such as full names, addresses, workplace details, phone numbers, or private messages without consent. Be cautious with screenshots and location data. If you feel unsafe, disengage and seek help from local resources or hotlines appropriate to your country. Report concerning content rather than confronting it directly.

    Moderation & Enforcement
Moderators are here to keep conversations productive and safe. We may edit or remove posts that break rules, place threads in slow mode, or lock them when needed. Typical flow is a reminder or warning for first issues, temporary suspensions for repeat behavior, and bans for severe or persistent violations. We aim to respond to reports within 24–48 hours, sooner during active incidents. You can report posts via the report button or by messaging the mod team; please include links and a short description so we can act quickly.

    How to Appeal
If you believe a moderation action was in error, message the mod team with a calm summary. Include your username, the linked post or thread, and why you think the decision should be reconsidered. We review appeals in order and usually reply within three business days. Acknowledging what happened and focusing on future compliance helps us resolve things faster.

    Advertising & External Links
We allow helpful links, but we verify them to keep the community safe. You may share external resources when they genuinely add value to the discussion. All links are subject to moderation and may be reviewed or removed. Affiliate links, obvious spam, scams, and unverified “get rich quick” offers are not allowed and will be taken down immediately. If you recommend a product or service, disclose any affiliation such as an affiliate relationship, paid promotion, or personal business, and provide honest context about your experience, including caveats. Moderators may temporarily remove or quarantine posts containing links while we verify them. Users who repeatedly post suspicious links may face restrictions, temporary suspensions, or bans. Please recommend only what you trust.

Thanks for helping keep this forum useful, safe, and welcoming. If you have questions about these rules, read our FAQs or ask in the feedback thread or message the mod team. Short version: be respectful, protect privacy, add value, and when in doubt—report, don’t engage.
